Literature"Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers."

Reading is definitely a passion of mine. Ever since my grade 4 teacher introduced a book contest to our class, I have been an avid reader. I majored in English Literature in university, I loved taking classes such as Children's Literature and Shakespeare, and I thoroughly enjoyed writing essays on my favourite authors (Frost, Lewis, Tolkien). In every class I teach, I share my reading experiences and try to inspire a life-long passion for reading in my students. Listed below are some of my favourite books. Most of the images are from amazon, but if you're interested in a free copy, try to find the book on http://www.readanybook.com/.

SCIENCE-FICTION/FANTASY
This is my absolute favourite genre to read, study, & teach. Although many of these books might be classified as Young Adult fiction, they are well-written, entertaining, meaningful, and excellent reads for people of all ages. Even if you're not a sci-fi fan, you should definitely check out some of these amazing books!
